The GSA2 (Greater Sacramento Area GSA) Summit on May 9 will be the first time a summit of this type is tried in the Greater Sacramento Area, which encompasses Sacramento, Yolo, Yuba, Placer, El Dorado, and Nevada counties. Our Mission is to provide a space for all area high schools, colleges, and universities to come together and share ideas, network and bring a sense of unity to our community.
Our goals for this summit are: For every student who attends to gain knowledge and leave feeling empowered. For every student make a connection with members of other GSAs/QSAs and be able to improve his or her own chapter from what they learn from each other. To give the advisors of each chapter an ability to speak with other advisors and also be able to network and see how to better help their students to make a strong GSA/QSA for themselves!
We invite all to come! We will have workshops for both high school and college students and a 'graduation ceremony' for all current high school seniors moving on to college next year!
