Looking for an attorney with a specific area of expertise that understands LGBT issues? Obtain accurate referrals to organizations and private attorneys from local law students. No legal advice is given.

HOUSING, EDUCATION, PUBLIC BENEFITS ISSUES

4th Monday of the Month (4pm to 6pm)

Are you low-income and have a housing, education, or public benefits legal problem? Legal Services of Northern California is Sacramento County’s free legal aid. Attorneys can assist with housing issues (e.g. evictions, discrimination), education, and public benefits (e.g. GA, welfare, Social Security).

DISABILITY ISSUES

2nd Monday of the Month (4pm to 6pm)

Are you a person with disabilities facing a legal problem that is connected to your disability? Protection & Advocacy, Inc. is a non-profit (state-funded) program to help persons with disabilities navigate their legal issues for free. Legal staff specialize in: Ticket to Work, Social Security reinstatements or overpayments, public benefits, special education, 504 or ADA accommodations, Traumatic Brain Injury, IHSS, and employment.
