HIV/AIDS Support Services

The Center provides HIV information specifically targeted to LGBT individuals through its LGBT Community Counseling Program and its youth and adult discussion groups.

PAW (Positive Active Welcoming)

The Center is home to PAW, a social organization for gay and bisexual men age 21 and older who are living with HIV/AIDS. Group activities include weekly "meet and greets," potluck meals, game nights, movies and guest speakers. Call 916-442-0185, Ext. 111, for more information.

HIV Testing 

The Center, in conjunction with Breaking Barriers, offers HIV testing and counseling services in a safe and affirming environment on:

  • Fridays, 4 to 6 p.m. 
  • Saturdays, 1 to 4 p.m.

You can help support HIV/AIDS support services at the Center by joining or supporting the Center's Sacramento Valley AIDS Walk/Run team.
